About

Westfield Park is ideally situated to reach a wide range of ages as it is surrounded by 3 schools, a sheltered housing complex and a doctor’s surgery.

The park itself is home to the Alex Collie Centre, outdoor football pitches, a children’s park area and a skate park. You can see all of these facilities and many more on our fantastic map.

There are a number of tarred paths running through the park – great for everything from easy going dog walks to short family bike rides. Walking a full circle of the park takes approximately 30 minutes – meeting a basic recommended daily exercise goal. The main paths through the park form part of the Aberdeen Core paths network and link with Brig of Balgownie to the south and many local residential areas and green spaces through Bridge of Don and beyond to the north. You can find out more about the core paths network here.

We value the chance the park gives us to connect with nature through the mix of open green space and woodland areas. At any time of year you can see many species of animals and plants. We have spotted a small family of Roe Deer, Rabbits, Pipistrelle Bats, and lots of different birds, wildflowers and bugs.
