Hawthorn
Did You Know:
The hawthorn is a hugely valuable tree for wildlife. It supports over 300 insects. It’s the food plant for lots of moths and bees who collect pollen and nectar from it’s flowers. Birds love it too as they eat the berries and hide in it’s thorny branches and leaves.
Activity:
The hawthorn is one our favourite trees in the park especially in May when it's in flower. What's your favourite tree and why?
