Roe Deer

Did You Know:

Young roe deer are known as kids or fawns. They are born with a spotted coat to help keep them camouflaged. A female roe deer is called a doe and a male a buck.

 Activity:

Roe deer bucks rub their antlers on small trees and shrubs to mark their territories. This sometimes removes patches of bark from the tree. Can you spot any evidence of antler rubbing on the trees nearby?
